Review: We've been to several different character meals, and
this was the worst. Even though we had
reservations, we still had to wait 50 MINUTES! They
were allowing people without reservation that
were staying at the hotel go in before us.
The food was not the greatest and the characters just were
pretty much a blur when they came by the table.
Wait staff was doing the
best they could, but it seemed like they were having a lot of
issues that morning. My advise is to
stick with character meals in a park - not at a
resort (unless you are staying there)!

Review: Our family enjoyed lunch here
Thanksgiving 2005. The atmosphere was just great. The cafe
is light and airy and open with the walls done in lovely pastel colors.
The kids can color on the table covers while mom and dad enjoy great
seafood. I was particularly impressed with the salad bar
selections. Many different meat and cheeses along with fresh fruit
were offered. We also enjoyed more traditional Thanksgiving fare
with the carved turkey and ham. I would recommend this restaurant
to any family in need of a break from Epcot (as it is so close) who
enjoys seafood.

Review: My family went to Cape May Cafe November of 2003 for
dinner. We all enjoyed the food, even our 7 yr old daughter. We are
returning to Disney in February and we are going back to Cape May for one
of our dinners.

Review: My family went to the Cape May Cafe for Christmas
dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. We waited approximately 20
minutes with priority seating which was impressive considering how busy it
was. The service throughout our dinner was outstanding and we never
wanted for anything. Never felt rushed. The variety of food was great
and my 14 year old daughter who is extremely picky found things she
liked...detests seafood. The variety of food was great and quality was up
there too. I recommend ordering a bucket of crab legs as they were among
the best I have ever had. Another must is the clam chowder. Christmas
dinner was made special with a holiday menu, eg.
turkey, stuffing, etc. as well as the regular fare offered at Cape May.
The Christmas decorations in the restaurant and in the resort definitely
added to the festivity. Definitely will
return on my next visit to the Orlando area.

Review: We wanted to eat breakfast with the Characters, so we
did so at Goofy's
Beach Club......well, what a disappointment.
It was a very expensive breakfast for
four of us and a major let down. Minnie didn't come into the
dinner area, so you had to snap a shot with her in a different room
while you waited to be seated. Then when we were
seated, the only characters that where going
around the tables was Goofy, Chip and Dale. Sorry, for about
$15.00 a person, I expected to see a lot more than that. Last time
I went I went to the one in the Contemporary
Hotel, going back 7 years ago or so, but it was
wonderful, you had a lot of the characters and they interacted with
you while eating, goofy on you and such. This place, all they did
was come by, shake your hand, and took a picture with you. I would not recommend
this place at all!!!!!
