Review: This is one of the best resorts at Disney. My husband and
I have been to Disney World 5 times and we are taking a trip in August
of this year. We stayed at this resort for a vacation we took in
2006 and it was wonderful. The service was great, the food was great,
everything was great. It was so much more than a moderate Resort.

Review: We stayed in the Ranchos area
from June 5-10, 2006. Even though this was not the location I
requested, it was great - close to a bus stop, could get rides to El
Centro most times with golf carts that ran around the main walk ways and
the hotel is beautiful. The rooms are very nice now with refrigerators
for each room. I thought the food at the food court was very good and a
lot for the money - maybe it has improved?? The service was great.

Review: My husband and I and our two
children, 16 & 12 stayed at Coronado Springs from 6/4-6/10/2004. My
children and husband had never been to Florida or DW in their lives. The
resort was beautiful. The staff members were all very helpful and
friendly. The room was large enough and very clean. We really
appreciated the in-room safe. The laundry facilities were clean and well
kept, but they could use new dryers. The bus stops for Disney
transportation were conveniently located and we rarely waited more than a
few minutes. The downside? The food was ok, nothing to write home about
and pricey. Also, the resort is so large that getting to the food court
was a good long walk. The pools were beautiful, but to be honest we only
utilized the "quiet pool" (no lifeguards) twice as we usually got in late
and were tired. The bell service was nice upon arrival and departure.
They will also store your luggage until you leave for the airport on your
day of departure. Be mindful of your bags, I had to send a staff member
back for two of ours that were left behind. We would definitely book at
Coronado Springs again.

Review: I stayed there
from 5-13-04 through 5-20-04. Coronado Springs is a well kept and
clean resort. The room was clean, AC worked if you don't want to go
below 71 degrees. For the money - stay at Dixie Landings or even
Wilderness Lodge. The pepper market food was fair but over priced
for the taste. This is a very big resort, nothing is close.
The pool was nice but not as big as the pictures and it's only about 4
feet deep. Hope you speak something besides English because most of
their "cast members" don't. As a person that will be staying at a
Disney Resort again. This resort was just not worth the price or all
the walking especially with all the theme parks to visit.

Review: I have stayed at most of the
Disney Hotels. I have been to Disney at least 20 times over the past 5
years and I am 26 yrs old. This is my favorite Moderate hotel on the
Disney property. I would recommend the AllStar's if you can put up w/
students from large school trips. Make
sure you like walking if you choose this hotel!
Room Size - Small, same as All Star Resort but there is a hairdryer
and you get the cute Mickey soaps, lotions and shampoos
Food - Not "kid" friendly, Delicious for people who like to
try new things. I love the southwestern food.
Pool - Very relaxing, Very good, reasonably priced drinks at pool
bar
Staff - Extremely pleasant and helpful
Appearance - Magnificent and very romantic
Transportation - the buses are always on schedule.

Review: I just returned from Coronado
Springs where I was attending a 3 day seminar. The property is absolutely
breathtaking, in fact I mentioned several times that I felt like we were
in a movie. The staff was all very courteous and friendly. I truly enjoyed
my stay at the hotel. The rooms were a little less upscale than I had
hoped considering the price, but overall my colleagues and I were very
happy with our stay. Great Job!

Review: Rooms are spread out making for a
long walk if you have limited mobility as my husband did. The The first
clerk was not as helpful as I would have expected. The second more than
made up for it though. I had asked for a room
close to the elevators as my husband had limited range in walking; we were
put in a room on the second floor as far from the elevators as possible.
Not only that no one asked if we wanted a smoking or non smoking room. So
the next day ( we were too tired after a 14 hour flight day) we had to
change rooms. We did find out the hotel had foldable wheel chairs for rent
(we got ours free). The advantage of using a resort wheel chair is the
long walk from the bus stop and if you want to rent an electric chair at a
park they will keep your resort one until you return for it. Rooms were
not as clean as I would want (dust bunnies under the beds.) Smoking room
bed covers smelled of smoke. There was not good ventilation to rid the
room of smoke.

Review: I'm 13 years old and all I can say is if you're a kid you
will love Coronado Springs. For one thing I
know my parents didn't pay all that much.
Coronado Springs is visually attractive. The beautiful view from the
rooms of the water and the white sand beach makes it all worth it.
However, while the
landscaping was extraordinary, what really impressed me was the
beautiful pool. The Mexican theme really
applied to the pool area and the slide was
really enjoyable. The food tasted pretty good, but it was slightly
overpriced, especially at dinner. The transportation wasn't super
fast, but it wasn't super slow either. Sometimes we had to wait
for a few minutes, but never over 15 minutes. the average wait for a bus
during our stay was anywhere from 2-15 min. All
of the staff were accommodating, which made the stay even more relaxing.
If you are worried about having to walk around
the large resort Disney staff can usually take care of that, by putting
you in a room conveniently located nearby bus stops,
restaurants, etc. I've stayed in Port Orleans
and Dixie Landings as well, and while they were both great, I have to say
Coronado Springs remains my favorite.

Review: My husband and I checked in Coronado Springs on Friday
(5-17-02) to attend the Flower & Garden Festival at Epcot on
Saturday for a long weekend. We were pleasantly surprised at the
difference in the Value resort and the Moderate resorts. (Not there has
ever been any thing wrong with the Value resort, just a little more
upscale.) We will probably never stay at the Value resorts again.
We liked the bell services idea especially when they picked us up in the
rain twice and took us to our room. Of course tips were
appreciated and we did not hesitate to give. But that was ok too.
We were right around the corner from one of the quiet pools and loved
that. This was a very quiet hotel even after we had been for
warned about how loud the convention people could be. We didn't
hear any noise at all. People were very nice and helpful. Buses
seemed to always be there right when we got to the stops and never had
to wait longer that 5 minutes. Very Very large resort and was
grateful that there were many bus stops available. Overall this
was a very enjoyable trip. Just too short.

Review: Although the grounds and pool were very nice, I was very
disappointed by the noise heard at night. I could hear the buses going
by all night. I have had better experiences at the All-Star resorts -
AND they are cheaper!

Review: I went there a few summers ago, and I just adored the way
they created such a resort. The temple at the main pool was so realistic. I
found my stay there most pleasant.

Review: This hotel is nicely decorated and clean. The pool was
wonderful with an Aztec architectural design and a slide that kids and
adults love. However, I found the rooms too distant, very inconvenient
if you have small children or if you are out of shape. Lots of walking
to get everywhere inside the facility (lobby, major pool, restaurant,
etc). I did not like the open corridors either, it gets too dark and
there are many insects at night. But if you love nature and serenity,
this is the place to be. The landscape is absolutely beautiful with an
exquisite lake you can stroll all around.

Review: We stayed when it first opened. Exceptionally
clean, however, it's so huge dependent upon where you stay you are not
close to anything. We did not care for the food choices at all --
all a SW theme and super expensive.
Dining here with small children is a nightmare.

Review: Coronado Springs is beautiful and well worth your money (at
only about $120 a night). The only draw back I can think of here is in
transportation. You must take buses everywhere and the bus stops may be as much
as a five minute walk from your front door. Though geographically an
"Animal Kingdom Resort" the bus ride was actually shorter to Epcot and
the Studios, as the bus stopped to pick up guests from the nearby All Star
Resorts on the way to AK. Also, Coronado is a convention property so priority is
to the conventioneers. As ordinary tourists, we had to call the reservation
office several times to get an opening here, but it can be done. Not as many
kids here, and the parking areas seem to fluctuate from from full to empty over
night (we visited in January so it may be different during peak seasons).
Another thing about Coranado Springs--you'd better like Mexican food. It's not
the only thing available but with the Southwestern theme of the resort, it sort
of comes with the turf. Overall, Coronado is well done--wonderfully themed and
landscaped, and a good price to boot.
Additional Comments --
"I have to say the Maya Restaurant at Coronado
Springs was excellent. A
bit pricey, but not particularly out of line if you wanted good food.
We were not impressed by the Pepper Grille. The food was so-so and the
payment method confusing for a group. Coronado Springs Resort was nice
but very spread out. The best thing about the room was the mattress.
You wouldn't know a zillion people had slept there before. It was firm
and comfortable. We were closest to Bus Stop #4 which kept us from
spending time at the Resort offerings. There are still things I would
have liked to have done there." -- Francine
"I had stayed at Disney Coronado Springs resort for 5
days. It is a nice set up; people are nice, friendly, helpful and very
courteous. Food and ambient at the resort are made to resemble the Latin
American style, environment. At my arrival, although I arrived 4 hours earlier
for check in, they placed me in a room right away." -- Gilberto
