#9: The American Idol Experience
Have a chance to sing for a Golden Ticket in this daily American Idol competition at Disney Studios. Or if you don't have the pipes, just watch as other Disney Guests compete. This show is usually very entertaining, with everything culminating in a finale that is broadcast outside the theatre in the evening. However, the performances aren't quite to the caliber of the TV Show, and there is no Simon Cowel, which was kind of the most fun part about American Idol.
The longest running stage show at Walt Disney World tells an abridged version of Beauty and The Beast. While the production values show their age, the show is still well performed and very entertaining. A definite must for kids who love the movie. For more information, click here.
This show features a giant cast of great Disney characters and an array of light, laser, and water effects. The show is entertaining enough, and a good way to spend half an hour on an evening in Disney Studios. However, the massive crowds and somewhat thin storyline leave a little bit to be desired. Definitely worth checking out! For more information, click here.
Located in the World Showcase Lagoon, this fireworks spectacular has a message of world peace and equality. Illuminations is one of the longest running fireworks shows at Disney World for a reason. It's great, and it offers many great spots to watch it around the World Showcase. One of the best parts are when the lights go out in the World Showcase and the torches come on.
#5: Wishes Nighttime Spectacular
Gather 'round Cinderella's Castle and see one of the best fireworks shows that Disney has ever put on. The show features beloved characters and songs from the long history of Walt Disney movies. Be sure to come early to grab a good spot

A MUST SEE for any fan of action. The car stunts they perform really are stunning, and a little bit insane. While catching a glimpse of how stunts work behind the scenes in movies is neat, the real draw are the fast cars and the big explosions. For more information, click here.
This really isn't close. This show is by far the best live action show at Walt Disney World. Featuring a score by the Tony-Award winning writers of Avenue Q, Finding Nemo The Musical has production values that rival some Broadway shows. The puppetry is spectacular, the performances are solid and funny, and the show is utterly charming. While it doesn't have the depth (or the budget) of a big show in New York, it's as close as you're going to find at Walt Disney World. For more information, click here.
