Review: There is no doubt that this is the best place to
stay for families. The separate bedroom allowed us to put the kids to bed
while we stayed up. The Murphy bed was great for my mother who traveled
with us. I recommend renting a golf cart in order to get around the
campground. The kitchen saved us money on food. We will always stay here
if we are bringing our children.

Review: Our family was very pleased with the cabin at Fort
Wilderness. It was very spacious,
and having a fully equipped kitchen was a plus! We bought our food
at the trading post it ran a little high, but packing lunches for the park
saved us some money with kids. We enjoyed
our stay there over Christmas. Thanks for
the nice memory.

Review: The Fort Wilderness Cabins are very spacious and
will save you a ton on food. The kitchens have everything you need minus
the food. We shopped off site and saved. We made sandwiches and brought
water and juice boxes to the parks every day. Even though they search your
bag, no one ever said anything about "outside" food. This alone
saved us a bunch. One draw back is the bus system you use just to move
around within Fort Wilderness, that got old but was very tolerable. I
highly recommend this property for families!

Review: When my buddies suggested that we rent an RV, drive to
Disney & campout I thought it would be a disaster; but I went along
with it because I thought it might make for a good story later on.
Well, I was more than satisfied
with my experience. The campground was clean, the other campers were
friendly & courteous & the staff was very helpful. Our site was
in the back,
a short walk to Pioneer Hall & the boat launch. The site was
only about
40.00-50.00 per night for the full hookup. The prices in the
general store
were a bit high (as expected). But the boat ride to the Magic Kingdom
was a real neat way to arrive. A good tip to remember though: when using the
WDW
buses, go to the Wilderness Lodge first, then pick up the bus to your
destination. The buses to/from the campground make about 100 other
stops in
between. The Wilderness Lodge busses are usually direct. It will
save you about an hour per trip. Have a great trip.
