Review: If you are looking for a special
Disney Dining experience DO NOT GO TO CORAL REEF. You won't find it
there. For an anniversary/birthday celebration we were given the worst
table in the restaurant (after a 20 minute wait past our reservation
time, watching other larger or as large parties get better tables). We
were at the very back of the restaurant, behind a 3.5 ft. wall (blocking
our view of the fish), next to the kitchen. We were wished a lukewarm
"Happy Anniversary" and then served a very mediocre meal. Seriously, the
restaurant is called "Coral Reef", their big gimmick is the aquarium and
their signature dish is a New York Strip steak? You will be much
happier with the food and atmosphere at other Disney restaurants, skip
this one.

Review: Our family had diner at the
Coral Reef on our last Disney trip (5/2006) and while we are planning
our next trip we will NOT plan on visiting again! We waited over 1 hour
for a table in the very back (even with advance reservations).
Then the service was lousy - slow, orders mixed up, 20 minutes
for appetizers then 5 minutes later our entrees arrived, slow to refill
drinks, & no coffee refills. We were on the dining plan but if we had
paid that much for average food & poor service we would have been even
more upset. Our friends visited recently & they just HAD to try this
restaurant despite our warnings...they called us while still at WDW to
tell us they should have listened to us!

Review: This is a beautiful restaurant
with good service & atmosphere BUT...neither my husband, children nor
myself had a good meal (catfish, NY strip and Mahi Mahi.) The seasonings
used were very "different" and unfortunately none of us enjoyed our
meals. We were really looking forward to eating here which may have
contributed to our disappointment. This was our only complaint during
our 8 day stay in Disney though. Thank goodness this was covered by the
dining plan b/c our bill would have been $185 for 3 adults and 1 child.

Review: We found that the dinner menu
was better than the lunch menu. We would definitely go back for
dinner! Wonderful restaurant and an even better atmosphere!!

Review: Epcot's seafood star:
If you want good seafood after visiting The Living Seas in
Epcot, this is the closest place to be. Beautiful dining room set up
against a floor to ceiling aquarium/living seas tank. The food won't
disappoint. It was quite satisfying although a bit spendy. Strongly
recommend reservations as soon as you know your days to visit. Ask for a
table tankside for a once in a lifetime experience that will make you
feel as is you are eating underwater. The service was good, although not
exceptional. Just adding this to show a need for more attentativeness.

Review: I enjoyed a light lunch of cream of lobster soup and a salad.
The soup was wonderful even though it didn't have much lobster in it. I
would have ordered a second helping but I was too embarrassed to ask. The
meal was served with a loaf of warm bread. Add to that a table next to the
window of the aquarium with its view of colorful fish, sharks, stingrays, etc.
and you have the perfect place to relax. The only bummer -- I ran out of
film after 2 pictures and had forgotten to bring a spare roll.
