Happy Monday everyone! I hope everyone out there had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends. I also hope that you've been able to take advantage of all those exciting Black Friday deals that were available over the weekend. While Black Friday and Brown Thursday (yes, apparently that's a thing now) have passed, you still have plenty of time to take advantage of deals starting today and going on throughout this whole week.
First off, our friends at All Star Vacation Homes are kicking off Cyber Monday Week today with deals good from today until Friday, November 30th. Their 2-for-1 specials for a private pool vacation home for 7 nights or more include a free rental car or money rebate, as well as a VIP Welcome Basket or $100 towards an in-home themed vacation party in your vacation home. Having stayed at All Star Vacation Homes many times in Orlando, I can tell you that it's like having a home away from home at Disney World. I cannot recommend them enough. Check out their website for the Cyber Monday deals at All Star Vacation Homes.

For over a decade, Guide2WDW has been a go-to source for Disney World tips online. While some of these tips come from our personal experience of packing the family up in a car and driving to Orlando every year, many of the tips on our site have been submitted by readers like you. As a thank you, we have decided to start awarding a prize for the best tip submitted each month. Additionally, we'll be rewarding one lucky person on our Guide2WDW mailing list with the same prize.
The prize this month will be a limited edition Walt Disney Imagineering pin, sold at Disney's employee-only store Mickey's of Glendale. We'll give away one of these pins to whoever sends in the tip of the month, and one randomly selected newsletter subscriber. For full details on how to enter this contest, continue reading about our Guide2WDW giveaway.
When all is said and done, 2012 will be seen as a huge year for Walt Disney Imagineering. The most popular theme park in the world will join in on the "New Land in 2012" party, as Disney announced a very important date this week. December 6th will mark the official Grand Opening for New Fantasyland, the largest expansion to the Magic Kingdom in the park's history. Previews for New Fantasyland will begin on November 19th, and Disney World Annual Passholders should be sure to register beforehand for the preview events. As part of Annie Leibovitz's Disney Dreams portraits this year, hysterical comedic actors Jack Black, Will Ferrel, and Jason Segel teamed up to portray the iconic Hitchhiking Ghosts from the Haunted Mansion. The result is a great portrait, as well as what must have been an unforgettable day. Hope you enjoy the behind the scenes look as much as I did.
