Review: My past trip at the polynesian was wonderful. Its fitting for both adults and kids. The decorations and landscaping were awesome and made you feel like you were in Hawaii for a much lower price. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with flowered necklaces. There was so much to do we almost forgot about the parks. I reccomend this resort above all other resorts, knowing that I have visited up to 3 other resorts. I would definately go there again.

"For my family, there is nowhere in Walt Disney World like the Polynesian Resort.  For starters, every single restaurant is superb, from the family dining in O'Hana's to the snack bar "Captain Cook's".  Even my daughter dubbed the chicken nuggets in their sit down restaurant, the Kona Cafe, the "Best I ever ate".  And that is from a kid who has eaten a lot of chicken nuggets in her 11 years!  There is a character breakfast in O'Hana's which is also delicious.  Besides the great food, the atmosphere is phenomenal.  The Cast Members are warm and welcoming and got us all into the Hawaiian spirit.  We were saying "aloha" and "mahalo" (thank you) to all we met there, just like the CM's.  The landscaping is beautiful, and looks just like the "real" Hawaii, with plenty of Hibiscus and other tropical plants.  The main pool has a slide shaped like a volcano, and there is a quiet pool also.   A great bonus to being at the Poly is the convenience.  This is a monorail resort, so you can pretty much roll out of bed and be in the Magic Kingdom.  There are also water taxis to the Magic Kingdom, as well as a ferry.  The transportation and ticket center is next to the Polynesian, which means the Epcot monorail is right there too.  (Buses will take you to the other parks).  Let me see, what did I miss?  Oh yes the rooms are super-nice too, nice size with double sinks in most and of course decorated in a Hawaiian motif.  Most second and third floor rooms have balconies.  There are rooms available, for an additional fee, with Concierge service and/or Magic Kingdom view.  Even if you don't have the MK view rooms you can stroll out to the Polynesian beach and see the fireworks over the castle.  It is a wonderful vantage point, imho better than from inside the MK.  For the romantics out there, the Poly has relaxing torch-lit paths to stroll through in the evening.   The main building, the Great Ceremonial House, is awesome, featuring huge plants, parrots, and a waterfall. I have stayed at all levels of resorts at WDW, from the Grand Floridian to Ft. Wilderness, I guess you can tell I love the Polynesian, and my kids and I would not stay anywhere else when we go to Walt Disney World."

Review: The Polynesian is my favorite Resort at Disney. I've stayed at about 6 other Disney Resorts.  The price is expensive (A lot less than Hawaii of course, but its like your in Hawaii, so I say its a good price...)  WELL WORTH IT!  You haven't eaten a good breakfast until you go to the KONA CAFE!  Biscuits, eggs, pancakes, EVERYTHING! Oh yes and the Tonga Toast and Omelets, are a major MUST! Compliments to the Chef. I'm going back to the Polynesian in 5 days for my third time (SPRING BREAK!) Oh my gosh I so totally almost forgot to talk about the gigantic Rooms. They are of the biggest hotel rooms at Disney, they fit 5 people! The bathroom is pretty big, and you've got a balcony, Its like your really in Hawaii ( although I've never been, but actually I don't have to because I'll just go to Disney for my Hawaiian experience).  There's easy transportation to and from the parks, since the Polynesian is on the Monorail route!!! Its right across the Seven Seas Lagoon, from The Magic Kingdom!!

Review: Staying at the Polynesian was the best time of our life. They had live parrots in the main lobby and the waterfalls were beautiful.  We planned to go to the 4 parks but we got caught up in the hotel so much we barely left.  The staff was very helpful and it was my birthday and they gave me an autographed picture of Mickey and friends. I totally recommend this resort I say don't stay any where else.

Review: The Polynesian is very expensive, and the rooms a little bigger than most. However, it was no different than other hotels I have stayed at. Would shop around before choosing this hotel again.

Review: The Polynesian is mine and my husbands favorite Disney resort. The whole themeing is excellent and the staff are very very helpful. One of the most romantic resorts at Disney.

Additional Comments --

"We stayed at the Polynesian which my daughter absolutely loved. She wants to stay there again. She loved the atmosphere especially the pool with the volcano slide. Went to the Polynesian luau. Good food and great entertainment but would recommend the Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue first. Great food and wonderful performers and entertainment.  Suggestion ~ If you are staying at the Polynesian, watch the nightly Magic Kingdom fireworks from the resort's beach. It was a great view (we were very comfortable in the lounge chairs) and we avoided the crowds." - Penny
