Review: We booked this restaurant for Illuminations. We
couldn't have been more disappointed. We ordered
steak and when it arrived it was so overcooked (even
though we asked for rare) that it had a flakey burned
texture. Awful. The illuminations viewing was horrible. We were
seated on the patio as we asked to be but it was under the veranda. No
view at all except straight ahead. The only bright spot of the meal was
our server. She was so sweet and tried everything she could to make us
more comfortable. We still ended up tipping her big, for her attitude
alone.

Review: The Rose and Crown was our favorite restaurant
during our whole trip. The servings were huge and our meal was so good. We will
definitely be eating there again.

Review: Having lived in Great Britain, I can say that a
visit to this restaurant is not only an authentic replica of British
Pub/Restaurant, but an enjoyable as well as delicious experience. The food is
plentiful, tasty and well presented. Oh the Beer! Maybe a wee too cold for a
real British pub, but very good none the less. In the Florida heat, this has
certainly become a regular beverage stop for my wife and I. Try the Guinness or
a Black and Tan. Make sure to stick around for the entertainment, sing along,
have a chat with one of the many British folks that you will find here. The
decor and the people you'll encounter here, makes this more than just a
restaurant or a bar, it's warm and welcoming and an attraction that's not to be
missed.

Review: We had a great time. We made a PS for 8:00, arrived
5 minutes late but it was OK because they were seating about 1/2 hour after
reserved time. We sat outside with sodas as my husband
sampled a hand-pulled beer.
We were seated on the patio at about 8:30. Our kids (ages
8 and 11) ordered from the kids menu. We started with the mushroom medley
(decadent and tons of rolls fresh from the oven.) The
adults had the salmon and the English Pie Sampler. Both were quite nice.
Illuminations happened about 1/2 way through our meal.
Spectacular. You can feel the heat from the
patio.
We met a nice young couple from South Carolina and spent forever talking about
our recent adoption of our boys. We were the
last two tables seated in the restaurant and no one
rushed us. Great service. Best we had at Disney.
Leaving the park so late after everyone else meant an empty Monorail back to the
TTC and on to the Contemporary Resort. We got to ride
up front in the monorail. The kids loved it.

Review: A very limited menu especially when the kids don't
eat cod. They all had chicken which was just ok and I had the mushroom medley
which was just ok. But the front row seat for
IllumiNations is why we were there, so a fun time was
had by all. The service is also very friendly and charming.

Review: One of the best meals we had during our week at
Disney. Fish and chips are a great value with a very large portion of Fish. I
also tried the Prime Rib with that being a very large portion and great
tasting. We had set up priority seating earlier in the day for a table around
8. They had no problem seating us and then allowing us to go outside and enjoy
the fireworks display. We then returned to our seat to find the table cleared
and new set of drinks on the table for everyone. We then ordered an apple
desert which is brand new and not on the menu yet. Just a great experience!

Review: The food is good and fairly priced, with excellent
fish, good beer, and adequate on everything else. But without a doubt, the
"Magic" level is high. A wonderful experience that did what Disney is supposed
to do: Make me forget I'd flown in from Baltimore that morning. Make a 7:30 to 8
PM reservations and pray you can get on the deck.

Review: Surprisingly, the food at the Rose & Crown pub was very
good - most of the reviews I've read were poor.
I suggest getting the Shepard's pie (which was not on the menu but similar to
one they had) It was a nice size portion and the
desserts were fantastic. The waitress we had was
excellent. We had priority seating for 7:30 and
she let us hang around until 9 pm for the Illuminations show. The viewing was
spectacular! We were sitting right on the
outside of the restaurant with our cordial in hand, viewing the fireworks! What
a way to end our day!

Review: We have been coming to Disney for years and have discovered
a secret and a gem at the Rose and Crown Pub. The secret - make an 8:00pm
dinner reservation. The food is great, the service is wonderful and you
can not find a more perfect place to watch the laser show. If you time it
right, your dessert will be served just before the show begins. They can't
guarantee a deck table when you make the reservation, but we have yet to be
disappointed!

Review: Great food for a great value. This was by far my favorite
restaurant on my last trip to WDW. Me and my wife are planning on
returning on our next trip. If you do not have time to sit down and eat at
the Rose and Crown I would strongly suggest stopping into the pub for a few
minutes to grab a beer and a quick snack. This is a five star place to
eat.
