Review: My husband and I had dinner here in Nov 2005 without our child.  I really wanted a romantic setting and left with mixed feelings about this one.  The setting is quite lovely, it's dark and depending on where you're seated it may be loud as was our case (we sat closer to the marketplace area).  I would have much preferred a table by the little river.  Nevertheless, our food was excellent!  My husband had the nachos and I had a chicken pasta dish.  We both loved the salsa.  We enjoyed this meal more than any and will put this on the "must do" list again.

Review: My husband, three children (ages 6,3,1yr)and I ate at San Angel Inn on Dec 3, 2003 for the 4:00 lunch seating. The food was very good, the guacamole was delicious. Imagine eating a wonderful meal at a delightful restaurant in a Mexican street market at night. We requested riverside seats and enjoyed the view of the "river," ancient ruins and a volcano.  The restaurant is open to the Rio Del Tiempo ride. A live mariachi band played, my children love Mexican food so they ate very well. I highly recommend San Angel Inn for the quality of food, portion sizes and atmosphere! Late lunches work out well for our family, after a day at the parks, the children are too exhausted to eat after 6:00. We save an avg. of $20 per meal by eating a late lunch.

Review: We usually eat here because we love the Margaritas and Mexican food.  However the last time we ate here, the service was not good.  They did not acknowledge we just sat down for at least 20 minutes, and at that point, the only reason someone came to our table, was because we told the manager. The food is good, the atmosphere is great and the Margaritas are Wonderful!

Review: Such a beautiful spot for dinner.  We had a difficult time selecting meals here because it is not our usual Mexican fare.  The kids both had Mole Poblano which they enjoyed and I had the grilled shrimp over pasta which was good, but not great.

Review: I am a vegetarian and when we ordered they said they could leave the meat (as well as some other toppings) off and then did not so when we took the
order back they said they would give a new one and put them on the side but
did not so I could not eat my meal at all. However, we stayed to watch the
fireworks from there and that was a great spot, otherwise don't go there if
you have special dietary needs.

Review: My family and I have been to Disney World several times and this is the our favorite place to eat in Epcot.  Of course, we love Mexican food.  However, the main reason that we enjoy this restaurant so much is because of the atmosphere!  It is located inside the Mexican exhibit overlooking the Mexican boat ride.  Therefore, you feel as if you are really eating in Mexico!  The view and sounds are incredible!  This is definitely worth the money!

Other Comments:

"The Mexican restaurant was great for dinner but if you are a person that gets cold easily you will definitely want to bring a sweater. The ambiance of the volcano and the little shops added to the experience." - Brian
