Review:  In April 2008 we stayed at three different hotels ranging from 2, 3 & 5 star hotels. The Disney World All Star Resort on Disney property rated 2 stars by AAA was by far the cleanest and best deal for the money than the 3 and 4 star rated hotels. The food at the food court was very good and reasonably priced as compared to the higher rated hotels. Our steak dinner for two at the five star hotel for example cost $42 without drinks which we had to put in the garbage. Our hot turkey dinner at the All Star food court on the
other hand cost $9 and was top notch. This hotel inside and out is extremely clean and well kept with very helpful staff.

Review:  We visited Disney for the first time and stayed at All Star Sports! It was a great value for $80 a night. Our room was in the Surf's Up building on the ground level just steps from the pool. The food court was great and offered lots of variety. Our kids loved the pools after a long day at the park. The arcade was pretty awesome and is located right beside the pool area. Mom and Dad were able to relax alone by the pool while the kids won tickets at the arcade. Our whole experience was awesome! Can't wait to visit again - I plan to stay at All Star Sports again! Hopefully even get the same room!

Review:  My husband and I took our 2 children in 2005. They were 9 and 7 at the time. Stayed at the all star sports and had a great time. Confirmed a room by the football field, but they did not have a room available when we got there. Upgraded us to a room by the pool which was so convenient. Wanted a value resort but on Disney property. Shuttle
service was excellent. Staff was excellent. $34 for breakfast for 4 people is pretty cheap if you ask me. Had dinner there on the last night of our stay...lots of choices, bill came to $42. Went again to Disney in 2007 and stayed off site at another hotel because we wanted a kitchen. Never used it.. The hotel was ok, but not great. In March of 2009 we are going back. We offered our boys The Nickelodeon Hotel with all of its amenities, or the Caribbean Beach on Disney property with the boats and water slides. Obviously, these 2 hotels are way more than All Star. They asked if we could stay at the All Star again because they loved it so much the first time!!! We said absolutely!!! With Disney properties, you know what you are getting, and there are no surprises.

Review:  We stayed at the All Star Sports Resort for one week during the first week of December 2004.  My husband and I and our two boys ages 12 and 10.  We had a great time.  Everything about the hotel is larger than life!  The shuttle service to the parks was awesome.  We never waited more than 5 minutes for a bus to any park.  It was so nice at the end of the day at the park, to get on a bus and sit back and relax on the way home.  It was also a great service to be able to send our parcels back to our hotel complimentary.  It saved us lugging around more than we had to.  We had an awesome time!  Staying on-site is the only way to go!  Thanks Disney!

Review:  Every year for the past 5 years we have been staying at ALL STAR SPORTS and enjoy it so much...The room is nice and clean and we always request Surf's Up building to be near pool, restaurant, and bar. After a day enjoying the parks, it's nice to come back to our room and go out to enjoy the pool etc. What a beautiful view we always have , it feels very tropical with the surfboards and all the palm trees surrounding the resort. We just love it there and will definitely be there again next year.

Review:  When you book a room at the All Star you may have to pay more for a pool view. My travel agent told me if I didn't book that, I'd have a view of the parking lot. Well, yes, our room was toward the parking lot, but there were large trees and beautiful landscaping all around. You could barely see the parking lot. However, we tried the burgers from the food court. Maybe it's just that we're used to beef from the big, hefty cows we have in Nebraska as opposed to the skinny ones they have in Florida (you get to see a lot when you drive), but, the meat tasted awful!! The buns were excellent, and the lettuce and especially the tomato were crisp and fresh, but we had to throw the meat away. Otherwise, I would recommend that if you book into the sports, request the surfing section. That is where the pool is, and is it ever beautiful. Very tropical.

Review:  My family of four went to Disney when our children were 10 and 7 years old.  We were very happy with the All Star Sports.  The rooms were clean and neat, a little small, but we knew that ahead of time.  We spent so much time at the parks, that we weren't planning to stay at the hotel for anything other than sleep.  It was fun to be out late at night, on the "football" field, running and playing.  The transportation to and from the parks was excellent.  ALL the Disney staff were great.  We can't wait to go back this year and we plan on staying at the ALL Stars again.

Review:  For $80 a night, this is a deal.  Pools were large and available.  A hot tub would have been nice.  Disney transportation was convenient and quick to all the parks.

Review:  My family has visited Disney World many times and we have found that for the money, staying at any of the All Star Resorts is by far the best bet.  The rooms are smaller than the moderate to expensive rooms, but you are not in your rooms for extensive periods of time except for sleeping.  We have stayed at several of the moderate priced resorts also and keep coming back to the All Star Resorts simply for the feeling of a far more family oriented property.  We have also stayed off grounds on occasions but have given that up because of the price at the All Star Resorts.  I would recommend any family coming to Disney for the first time (with a family of 4 or less) to spend the extra money to stay on grounds at any of the All Star resorts versus saving a few dollars to stay off property.  It will be worth the little bit extra you will pay.  Any of the All Star Resorts are highly recommended by this family!!  Our kids are now 16 and 14 and we can't wait to come back to the most magical place on earth.

Review:  I liked it so much, I am making it my prime WDW hotel! The food was good, the busses were fast, and the game arcade was wonderful. THANKS DISNEY. SEE YA JUNE 12-16, 2000!

Review:  In 1998 we stayed at the All Star Sports Resorts and absolutely loved it!!  We had stayed off the property in the past and there is no comparison. The staff was very helpful......the rooms were immaculate...and their size was fine for a family of four.  The food at the food court was reasonably priced and portions were good and so was the taste. Housekeeping was awesome!  We would head to the park for early entry every day with the intention of returning back to our room for lunch and an afternoon swim and so before we'd leave....we'd call housekeeping to request early service.  We were never disappointed.  Our children were so excited to see what "our maid had done this time"  that they were practically running back to our room.  Each day she would do something different with their stuffed animals.  The best was when she centered Pooh in the middle of the bed.....facing the tv......with a banana in one hand and the tv converter in the other.  It was something none of us will ever forget! Please stay at a Disney property it will be a choice that you won't regret.  We can't wait to return!!!
