Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage

Show Length: 30 minutes
This show brings to life an abridged version of Disney's Beauty and the
Beast. The show performs such songs as "Be Our Guest",
"Beauty and the Beast", and "Belle". After
the fight scene around the castle, the beast is transformed into a
prince. The show is very entertaining and the elaborate costumes
make the show one of the best at the park.

Rock N Roller Coaster

Height Restriction: 48"

Located right next to the Tower of Terror, Rock N Roller Coaster is a thrill
seekers dream! The idea is that the Aerosmith fans need to take the
fastest route to get to the concert on time (as the manager says,
"Get the stretched limo, no, better make that the super stretched
limo"). Riders are then loaded into their limousines (with
Aerosmith music playing) and sent off into the dark. The coaster
contains a double loop at the beginning and a corkscrew turn in the
middle. This ride is one of the most intense rides in Walt
Disney World. |

Visitor Comments:
Disney has done it again, but does this surprise anybody? This has got
to be the most exhilarating ride to date. The sheer speed and g-forces
would be enough to make this a top-notch attraction but Disney does something
that others have tried and only failed miserably at. Theme! As with
any Disney attraction themeing is key. Rock 'N Roller Coaster is no
exception. There are a few other coasters out there that travel at higher
speeds, but without the "magic" they're nothing more then a giant
erector set. Other theme parks have come a long way in recent years, but
as with people even theme parks need somebody to look up to. - Boe
In January, I went to the MGM Studios and got to ride the
Rock N' Roller Coaster. It was nothing less than awesome. The
special effects, neon lights, complex inversions and especially the 0-60 mph
launch make this one one of the best coasters that I've been on. Great

"UN-FREAKING-BELIEVABLE!!!!!!
The thrill of the twists and turns are great and the darkness adds to it.
The idea of rock being the background helps make this a fantastic ride."
- Frank
Fantastic acceleration at the start of the ride. 0-60 mph in 2.8 Seconds.
A must for roller coaster fans
- Dave
"Awesome - worth the wait and the trip!"
-Karen
"The Rock-N-Roller Coaster became my number one ride at Disney. Cruising
at 60 mph with Aerosmith playing in your ears, going up-side down, twisting,
turning: What a rush!!!!" - Rodney

The Twilight Zone Tower Of Terror

Height Restriction: 40"

This attraction is set in the Hollywood Tower Hotel. Once inside
the hotel, be sure to look around - the detail of the lobby is
amazing. From there, visitors are sent into the library for a
pre-show. Tip - once in the library, move to the opposite corner
you entered. This door will open into the basement where you
will be loaded into the elevator. Tip - In the basement, go to
the left line - it's quicker. Once loaded into the elevator, the
elevator travels through the hotel. Before dropping (three time
total), the elevator is brought to the front of the hotel where a door
opens allowing passengers to have a bird's eye view of the
park.

Visitor Comments:
"The tower of terror is by far one of the best attractions
at Disney World. The effects are first class and the falls are on par with
other freefall rides throughout the country. If I had to pick one ride to
ride if I was in Disney World it would be this one. Make it a point to
ride this when you go to MGM." - Matt
"The Tower of Terror is the epitome of Disney magic. It
combines a great story about a golden age of the past with the technology of
today to make an awesome ride. Most theme parks with similar rides just
put you in the air and drop you, but Disney puts you into a great story as well."
- Inga
"I went on Tower of Terror tentatively - I am desperately afraid
of heights, and I'm normally not a big fan of drops. So I'm writing to give a
slightly different perspective on the ride. I cannot wait to go back on
TOT, and the drop has nothing to do with it - thematically, this one of the best
overall attractions I've been on. Waiting in line checking out the
interior of the hotel is as much fun as the ride. The drop was fun, but
not scary enough to keep me off of it so that I an enjoy the rest!"
- Andrea
"What a great ride. Try and get the seat in the middle that only
has a seat belt. You get some good air time. I was a single rider and asked the
people in my group if I could sit there, since most people are in a group and
want to sit together nobody minded." - Scott
"WOW!!! I knew what to expect but what I experienced was more than I expected. The
drops were many and I kept losing count even though I rode it a number of
times. Just ride it!!" - Frank
"The Tower of Terror was real scary, but was fun to ride. The special
effects were excellent on the ride. It looks real scary at first, but it's lots
of fun." - Jason

Fantasmic

Show length: 25 minutes
Disney recommends getting to this show at least an hour ahead of
time. This show takes place at the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater.
The show basically consists of a water pageant with fireworks and
music. Each float contains different Disney characters.
While some people love this show, I felt that the show didn't follow
a natural progression. Most people probably want to see this
show once, but I have no desire to go back due to the long wait and
crowds.
Visitor Comments: "The Fantasmic show is a must. Very cool effects and
imagery. If you are going to see it, make sure you get there at least
1 to 1.5 hours ahead because the place gets packed. The day that I
went, they had to close the entrances because there was no place left
anywhere for you to seat or stand. Don’t seat all the way in the front
if you don’t want to get wet because the water effects, you might get
splashed." - Gilberto
